"I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to experience your training on the use my Zeiss Pro Ergo microscope. My dental assistant and I are working on the tips and techniques you taught us. We feel your visit to our practice has certainly been very worthwhile and fruitful for us. Thank you for your enthusiasm and your patience during the training session. Take care and best wishes."

Dr. Dennis Teoh - North Sydney, Austrailia

"Thank you so much for the time you gave to me and Lil on Friday. I have had the monitors mounted today and can't wait to get to the office tomorrow to see how it all looks and works. Hope to see you again in the future perhaps a longer one on one training session next time you are down-under. You US guys have one heck of a resource on your doorstep in Stefan. "

Dr. Cam Christophers - Perth Western, Austrailia

"After viewing Glenn DVD and having Stefan Lugar in my office last Friday I was ready to GO. MY first solo day with the scope. @ root canals # 19 and #4. WOW. What a view. Did both RCT in about 1 hr each. Not too bad. Some comp restoration and exam. Did I mention the WOW reaction by my patients. Day two: RCT # 14, yup found that MB2 NO PROBLEMA. Again another WOW reaction by my patients. For all you thinking about getting a scope, some advice. 1. get Glenn DVD 2. Stefan Luger training. 3 Get 2 or more patients for the training section. Thanks Glenn and Stefan, your input and great dedication to microscope dentistry is a great service to the dental profession. Keep up the good  work."

Dr. Freddy Ramos - Independence, Kansas

"It has been an absolute pleasure working with Stefan and he has bent over backwards accommodating our hectic schedule. He makes it seem SOOOO easy to use, so the real test will be if I can duplicate what he taught me Also noteworthy, he seems to actually *enjoy* what he does and is willing to go the extra mile for you. I'm sure he is in the business to earn a living, but you certainly don't feel like he is all about getting the most money from you. He has proven himself to be an honest, experienced, versatile person with a gift for teaching and competence (except with electronics.....inside joke). He also feels strongly about standing behind the products that he sells. The light and fan in this unit were faulty, and he quickly had a replacement for me on delivery date. Also, I, being my near-sighted self, was able to find imperfections in the binocular and lens assembly. I have great faith that he will come through for me again with replacement parts for these items as well (at least he promised to and so far, he has a great track record of keeping his promises) NO>>>>I do NOT receive any monetary or financial rewards for telling it like it is Now, enough about Stefan and onto the scope. I was actually able to see the flutes of my bur when doing cavity prep!! Now, that may not seem like a big deal to you, but when you can actually see what the hell you are cutting right at the cutting edge of the instrument, your accuracy and precision dramatically increase. When you can sight down a canal and see the bleach bubbling in there, and the necrotic pulp floating out, that is just plain amazing. Plus, my patients seemed to be blown away with its capabilities (and that was without the monitor!!) When you show them a $5 bill under the scope and they can see the fibers of the paper and say, "now with how much more detail will I be able to see your tooth?"...they are dumbfounded! Needless to say, my experience with Stefan and the scope has been stellar. (Let’s see how I do solo)"

Dr. Phillip Uffer - New Windsor, Maryland

"Stefan, just wanted to thank you and Burt (local Seiler rep) for everything you helped my staff and I learn about using the scope in my office. Like your statement above, you saw that our setup was just a little different and I appreciated your insight as to how we could work around the chair height problem for the mandibular arch position.

BTW, the focus 1st on 4 (13x) tip was great. Made it so much easier to move between powers and not have to do all the refocusing I was doing previously.

I'm sure the combination of Stefan's training and Glenn van As's CD have helped move our office much more quickly along the learning curve. Great resources and I'd recommend them to anyone considering a scope."

Dr. Ron Shalter - Adrian, MI

"All three [Seiler, Global, and Zeiss] are very nice . The Seiler just seems to work better for me. I liked all three, so it's just a personal decision. Anyone looking at a scope really needs to try all of them. And it's amazing what Stefan can teach you in a few hours."

Dr. Paul Honeycutt - Manchester, TN

"As far as brands go I have only tried Zeiss and Seiler but I must say the Seiler seemed more user friendly to me and Stefan was incredible in shortening the initial learning curve. To me, they all likely work well, but the price and the training seemed to be in Seiler's favor to me. I have friends that have the Global and seem to love it as well but have no personal experience with it. All things considered Stefan is the overriding factor for me."

Dr. Stewart Rosenberg - Laurel, MD

"I installed my Seiler dental microscope in Jan. 2004 and I mix in my Delight dental Laser, and my patients are blown away. They have such a motivation and interest in dentistry like never before.  They can't believe dentistry can be done this way!!

For those of you who do not possess a laser...it cuts with a very fine beam that I find hard to see with 5x Surgitel loupes, and it is very very dark in there as there are no fibre-optic lights. I told myself I cannot practice laser dentistry without better vision and lighting.

Now I practice in a bright field...see up to 20x...and I look straight ahead and do not drop my head. I have never felt more comfortable.  The patients' reaction is so positive and further enhances what a high quality practice we are!!!

If you don't use magnification for routine/drill dentistry, I believe you should...if you don't use magnification for laser dentistry, how do you do it?

It's like x-mas morning everyday...being able to do the exciting dentistry that gets everyone excited...that would include myself, my team, and all our patients.

I am in Canada and i paid about $30k Canadian so it would be about $400 US dollars. Haha, but the costs are offset by the look of awe in your patients' eyes when they see how advanced our office is. the positive feedback and pt referral is non-stop!!!

It is really hard to make that leap of faith when you are looking in on the outside because of costs, but I have to say the benefits are speaking for themselves. We have never been so busy and I haven't even marketed the laser and microscope yet!! My patients are doing all the advertising for me right now...and is it paying off. we were steady before but now it is getting too busy!!! I am not sure I like that!!! That means I have to really work.

Email me if you need further advice, I will do my best to help!!

I have the high wall mount with inclinable head Revelation series. It is (Seiler's) their top of the line dental model with all the fixings and equipped it with beam splitters, camera, and video-camera, LCD monitor. everything you could want for the scope...and it is in Canadian dollars with shipping and duties and our crazy taxes. you don't know how good you have it tax wise in the States...but I still love Canada!!!
